Financial & Academic Criteria

Increased Living Funds (GIC)

As of 2026, the Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) requirement is CAD 22,895. This is mandatory to prove you can support yourself without full-time work.

Language Proficiency

While some colleges accept a 6.0 overall, we recommend IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6.0) or PTE 60+ for the highest visa success rate.

The PAL System

Most undergraduate and diploma students now require a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL). We assist in securing this from the provincial government after your college acceptance.

New Work Rights

Canada has officially increased off-campus work hours to 24 hours per week during study terms, allowing better financial stability for students.

Why Canada for Nepali Students?

World-Class PR Pathway

Canada remains the most friendly destination for Permanent Residency. Graduates from Master's programs qualify for a 3-year PGWP immediately.

Lower Tuition vs. USA/UK

Quality of education is equal to the US, but tuition fees are often 20% to 30% lower, especially in regional provinces like Alberta and Manitoba.

2026 Update: Master's and PhD applicants are EXEMPT from the study permit cap and do not require a PAL. This is the fastest route to Canada right now.
